Hello everyone!

Finished this artwork today!

Here's the thing: I love and hate it.

WHY???
Love it, because I did really good with the face, the bridle and bit design, the blending of the background, the usage of pastel pencils with inks and the overall feel. Hate it, because I messed up the proportions and that blanket is so wrong, the mane argh and the flowers..., but I can't change it. You probably wouldn't notice at first glance lol <- my own worst critic!

But you know, each piece is a learning process and I came to find new ways of blending, creating the background was super fun and that was new for me.

I am also looking into getting some proper pastels and pastel paper. I really need something that can layer and blend well. Perhaps pastels may be the way to go for me in the future. I keep trying different mediums to find out which exactly is mine. In the traditional world that is at least, as the digital I have figured out for me
