Meh, I'm neutral to Yuma.
But I do respect your opinion regardless.
Yeah, he does need more love.

No probs.
Seen everything about this series, but I'm actually not too much of a fan about it.

It's nice to see this.
I actually think that Yuya and Yu-Gi-Oh ARC-V as a whole jumped the Ryoga Kamishiro a long time ago by now in comparison to how Yuma progressed.

Agreed, have to admit Yuma was a very childish character compared to the others. But towards the end of the series he was one of the characters that wouldn't give up even with all the bad things happening to his friends all dying, even though he wasn't the strongest one out of all his friends (which I find a very positive message) other characters I know who are like that are Sai-xaoxi from space Energy Robots and Molele from Mole's World.
Zexal was one of my guilty pleasure shows. I wrote few headcanons and crossover fanfics about it. Since by the second arc it reminded of YGO combined with a few stories my an author I admire.
Though I didn't fit in the fandom well (yet I don't fit in any fandoms well, especially Tumblr fandoms)

I mainly got liking the series by the second arc. Since I liked the backstories (pretty much covered all the plot holes in the manga) along with how intense it is. since I like intense shows.
Vy the way the author who has stories that parallels with the zexal concept is named Mary Staton but also goes by Claudia Bishop. She isn't all that popular, but I liked all her stories since its interesting about people reincarnating into other worlds and how she always seems to have a character that starts off weak and naive at first but grows stronger and wiser towards the ending.

Agreed. Besides, there are worse protagonists anyway, such as Hanzo from Hanzo the Razor, Makoto Ito, and Kirito (character wise, I basically like him as a fighting game character, he fits that role more).

That's fine more power to you for liking it. I just don't like it after seeing it for 3 years and the duels mostly was summon a boss monster, protect it for the entire game.

Speaking of Yuma,I'd love to see him meet Kubo from Kubo and the Two Strings.

And I suppose Monkey would teach Kotori a thing or two, wouldn't she?

She would. And Beetle would do the same thing to Bronk.
