Okay it's nearly the end of voting period for the Pet Idol contest. It ends on the 27th! It'd be really awesome to see a WGSD win! Right now an australian shepherd is in the lead. I'd love to have Skywalker introduce the breed to my area, for everyone is very surprised to learn she's a german shepherd. The contest is sponsored by the local news paper's Education in Newspapers organization. It is a group that promotes using newspapers in the classroom.
