Hahahahaha...so much for no cutting corners...I was trying to make this one of my best works.I was good until it came to the shading...but I DID spend at least TWO HOURS adding in that back wing. I didn't draw one on. It took a while, especially with my limited knowlege of PaintShop Pro.
Ok...what else...
Wilt is now known as the Red Rider is my world. I literally JUST came up with that!!! ^_^
You probably can't see very well, but Wilt has a bit of a grubby face. Can you see?

The detail you put into this picture is incredible. Yes, I can see the dirt on Wilt's face (or should I say the Red Rider?) I especially like the shading on the trees--making them darker from above focuses our attention on your two main figures. The dragone's semi-transparent membrane across its wing is fantastic!

You're welcome! It was really an impressive piece. I can relate too, of having a piece I've worked really hard on and waiting for someone to comment on it. With such an amazing dragon, how can one not want to comment? And it's interesting seeing one of Foster's in a different kind of world. Well he is an imaginary friend, so why not?

I think it looks awesome. The shading is great, and the background. My favorite part is the translucent wings. Very well done.

That must have been really time consuming with that dragon O_O So many details...wow. I don't think I would have had the patience. I like the way the background is blurred - it gives the impression that the forrest goes on, though there are no trees. That's a very good effect, I never thought it could be done that way : D
I think this is a cool piece. Wilt's grubby-ness fits the surroundings. (good job on his clothes)

By doing the wing spans on a different layer, and bringing the opacity down a tad.
