Been playing with this concept for awhile; I'm rather happy with how it came out.I wish I had something profound to put here, but the picture pretty much speaks for itself.
Orca's are so damn beautiful.

I just found this, and I whole-heartedly agree with you; Orcas are very damn beautiful.
I was working on a full back tattoo piece and I was hoping to get permission to intergrade this into it. It's basically going to be Orca/Owl based, two of my favourite animals, and I simply can't resist this beautiful ying-yang portrait you've done.
It's awesome, and even if I can't use it, still an excellent piece!

Beautiful. ^_^ The extra little curl on the white one's backspot is a nice touch. It is a tad difficult to see that her tail is twisted so at first glance, but after a second look I figured it out. ^_^'

Wow, really truly spectacular. Orca's are my favorite animals and you've captured their beauty and grace so perfectly. It reminds me of the sun and the moon fish from Avatar the Last Airbender. Very good job.

First of all, this piece really is evocative of the theme of "yin and yang" for me. The reason is obvious, of course, but that doesn't mean it isn't worth mentioning. That said, few things are more basic to life, the universe, and everything than the principle of opposing balance. I think this captures that theme marvelously...
But, the water looks a bit less like water and more like some sort of, well, misty blue soup that has zero reflection whatsoever. It would've provided a heightened sense of unity if the water reflected the orcas. Also, the sky needs a lot of work, particularly in the areas of celestial variance (i.e. star variety; the stars are too uniform in their brightness and distribution), and detail in the moon. The maria on the moon look too 'artificial,' for lack of a better term, and there don't seem to be any bright streaks that would suggest a craterous surface. The aurora is fine, but it might benefit from a bit of distal curvature, where it seems more wavey as opposed to the regularity in the picture. The rock in the background I'm willing to spare because I have a feeling the rock's part of the overall style in general.
It's a lovely piece, and I can tell with confidence that you spent an inordinate amount time and effort into creating it. I congratulate you!

Wow, its so beautiful. I cant tell you how tempted I am to buy a print, especially since Im going to college and need to make my dorm wall pretty. Maybe I can tell my mom to get it for me for my birthday! Fun!
Anyway, enough of my rambling. Its so pretty and really well thought out. Orcas are perfect to be used for yin-yang. It makes me wonder if there is an albino orca...
