Full view please.This is part of a series of three.
This was my photography week assignment. We were given a colour (in my case: blue,) and had to express an emotion through a certain genre (in my case dolls *what a surprise!* ) using photography. My emotion is 'Serene Melancholy.'
This is Macarius' first independent, serious photo shoot ^o^ He was... relatively cooperative = P
We were given SLRs to use, but my mum's compac which I had with me is actually amazing - so although I took the Nikon out there with me, I just ended up using my mums Lumix~
The symbolic theme of this shoot is mortality.

Photoshop adjustments
-desaturated background
-smoothed out lips
-added light source
-added subtle nail colour
-cleaned up stray hairs
-added a band to the ring/erased the elastic

This is an absolutely beautiful piece! The shades of blue are wonderful and really make it stand out. The ring is a fabulous touch.

I looked out my Gameboy Advance SP nfor soemthign else, and put it on his lap to charge.
My SP is the same blue as his cravat, and it just looked so good as his laptop!! XD

Angle, pose, colours, settings = works nicely, they all complement each other ~ ^.^
At first I thought this was a real person, then realized it wasn't at second glance. Now that's good photography skills right there!

The photography teacher said that he thought it was a person for a moment =/ (this was whilst I was working on it.) He then went on to talk about her ribbon and her hair. When I pointed out that it was a man he said that he was like Michael Jackson! TT~TT
