I started this image quite some time ago, but it took so long for my computer to render it using Reality/Lux, that I put it off until the 4.1 release and the massive speed boosts. Except that my computer is too old to benefit, and seems to perform even worse.This image still needs more materials and lighting work and is actually just a test render, but I'm done trying to finish it to my standards. I don't want to spend a week letting it render and still not be good enough. I put a lot of work into building the scene, and I don't want to let it just die in the depths of my unfinished and never seen projects. So here it is as it is.
This is a scene inspired by RP in Elder Scrolls Online. Helldane and Asny are receiving an urgent message from their Nord counterparts via hawk.

The girl's face is really amazing, it's expressive and has a very vivid and realistic (and understandable in this situation) expression. I love how your eyes just keep looking at the girl, till they suddenly notice the guy in the back. Really interesting characters here, you really start to wonder what's the story about. Beautifully done.

But in all seriousness, nicely done. The fact it only needs lighting/texture work means the easy part is over! Or was it the hard part. Are you still with Poser, or did you hop ship over to DAZ with their Iray fanciness? (Although, if you run AMD, shit outta luck there too. Stupid proprietary stuff.)

Been pretty much 100% Studio and Iray since 4.8 beta released. I dust off Poser now and then so I don't forget how to use it.
I do have an Nvidia card that's about the minimum Iray can use, but I just run CPU mode. Works well enough for me, and still kicks Reality/Lux hard in the ass in terms of render times. Hard... with a sharp, pointy toe. lol

Mmm, yes. I won't lie, doing an image in 15m compared to Reality wanting hours upon hours. It makes me really prefer Iray. Maybe someday in the future I'll get a workstation computer to give Lux a full breathing room to play in.
