He reached out without thinking about it to pull her close, and they stood together watching the mysterious lights bobbing and flashing all around them. One in particular seemed attracted to the two ragdolls, drifting closer, circling and then hovering before them. Charlie cupped a hand around it gently, surprised to find the bobbing green orb of light was just that - a light, and not at all the firefly he'd thought it was. He glanced down at 45 again, the tiny green glow reflected in both their optics..
A collab that me and *setsu-p did for the Art Themes Challenge on The Source. Setsu picked #42 , Standing Still, drew line-art, and I got to color it!
The scene here is a FORESHADOWING-dream Charlie/304 has after he and 45 soulbind...heeheeheeeee~

Wow... the lighting and colors in this piece really fit together.
Call it crazy, but I can't help envisioning this as what the future of the 9 world will look like once true life returns. Green and just as magical but with little guardians made of cloth sacks. c:
