Randomly got the urge to pixel something a few weeks ago! Forgot how fun the pencil tool is to use~Don't be too impressed though because I feel I cheated. Used A LOT of layers with different colors and played with layer transparency until it looked a way I could be happy with...
I duno...I guess I don't like the sharp Pixel look? I like smoother looks to them?
...would it still go under pixel then? I think it would? I didn't use any tool other than a one pixel pencil tool.
Any ways, WAY better than the one I made over a year ago now~ LOOK it's even Pittoo!

Wait, how did you cheat? Because unless you shrank a large drawing, adding all that coloring stuff actually makes it MORE impressive. That's totally more work!

Maybe I think it is cheating? Rather than knowing what colors to pick and use I just made them transparent until I was cool with it?
Pretty much just used layer transparency and constant layering of colors with the pencil tool to do the shading. I guess kind of an odd way to do pixel art?

You can see in closeups that there are A LOT of colors, and that's not something you usually see in pixel art

That is a lot more work though, there's a lot of pixel art that uses tons of colors but it's rare because it's so elaborate. that's the most valuable stuff, man. VALUABLE.

I wonder if there is an easier way to do this kind of pixel stuff. I mean, maybe if I used opacity on the pencil tool instead? I need to try this now...
Not very practical for moving sprites, but it looks nice for stationary stuff!

Palms are probably my favorite concept wise that KIU has created. I like the idea of this thing that makes your hand a magic energy shooter that shoots ridiculous things like bubbles or hearts, or reapettes

eeeh, but it's not really done how one traditionally does pixel art. It's kind of in between non pixel and pixel, so not sure how well it will be received.
