I know it's not color and there are going to be those of you who are going to complain about it or be disappointed in me for submitting something not colored, but please keep in mind inktober is about the sketch/lines

While I've been stressed and absent from DA, I've actually been drawing more over on tumblr: heartofthemaid.tumblr.com/
Now I haven't been doing an EXACT inktober this year, in which every day you draw something new, what with all the work I've had to do for commissions and getting the move on track and what not.

I've been drawing some lines on days I can though, and I plan to keep going so feel free to check out my tumblr for new art. I probably won't submit much more to DA unless much later and I color them in.
Part of the reason I'd like everyone to take a look at the inktober stuff this year is to let me know WHAT styles they like best so I can work on them some more!
I do love me some feedback!
One thing I am trying to do is try to draw something in a different style per day! It's actually been really nice since I've learned lots of new tricks for lineart and sketching.
I hope to use this new information to make even better lines and improved art!
Last year I only did one, but it took HOURS upon HOURS to do

As for the style, it seems to me you slightly elongate Pit's body. Though I'm no expert on that. Would be interesting to see you try the official proportions if that's the case, but whatever you wanna do...

I tend to give Pit a skinny/lanky appearance because that's how I like to see him XD as this skinny little toothpick with baggy clothing who could beat the ever loving snot out of you with ease.
The reason his torso is probably longer in this is because of the pose and I put his belt pretty low I am going to guess!

I just meant because you usually stick to cute youngish type shota, but this pit really has the perfect maturity to his face, and it'd be a great way to draw adultish Link

I guess it depends? For DA submissions I try to stick to submissions that won't get obnoxious people doing their "um excuse me...but you drew Pit's hair facing a 34 degree right angle? It's supposed to be a 24 LEFT angle...ugh...get it right next time"
So usually DA submissions are as close as can be to official art in terms of face...not that it helps XD I still get people nitpicking every little thing from time to time...
Not trying to make excuses for myself though, dang do I have to work on different kinds of faces, but still, it's hard to post that stuff here on DA XD

It just gets tiring dealing with the self entitled people here sometimes, that's why I drift away for so long. Wish there was a way to become more thick skinned about people like that.

Yeah, I can relate, the issues of some people we run into in this site. Over the past two months I had been dealing with a subnormal who apparently only knows how to go mooching for free art around here.
