Infancy - Adolescence
459 A.E.D - 477 A.E.D

~ He killed his mother as she was trying to birth him.
A few months into her pregnancy she drank a Magical Mutation potion...expecting it would help her baby get stronger. In the womb, he had grown a pair of wings with sharp talons and spurs that stabbed into her as he was birthed.
In a few days, she died of infection. His father was nowhere to be found.
  - When his mother died he was taken to an orphanage in Aurora, where he
grew up in a good place but always felt like something was off...with him. He
had a mom right? A Dad? What happened to them? Did I do something?

~ One day, at the age of 7 he met a Child of Blom. For the first time, he felt peaceful...not that weird anxiety he’d get when his mind was wondering. He spent that day following the Child of Blom around and asking so many questions.
  - He made friends with another kid named Henrik, talking hours on end
about Blom and the priests, and how cool and peaceful they looked. Both of
them planned on going to Priesthood together.

~ At 18 with Henrik he joined the Children of Blom.

Priesthood
478 A.E.D - 486 A.E.D

~ At age 20, after having known each other for so long, Henrik and Styr started dating.

~ It isn’t until he’s 24 years old that he goes through with the Blessing, and there with him was Henrik. Almost every step of the way.
  - When they arrived at the cave together and witnessed Blom, both had very
different reactions to her. Sty could not stop staring and glancing at her, and
Henrik could barely even believe this was real, and upon seeing her; Henrik
turned to Styr and asked him to very quickly slap him to make sure he was
awake.
~ While they completed their trials, time went by like a blur and before they knew it, a whole year had passed in that cave without them being fully aware of it.
  - Not long after they came back from the cave, Henrik and Styr got married
at 25.

~ 9 years’ worth of being a Child of Blom, and he felt like his work was never really finished, so many people to help still...The raids were getting worse? The war had made so many people’s lives so unheedingly painful.

Military
486 A.E.D - 491 A.E.D

~ At 26 years old he joins the Dutorian military, feeling it is time for him to fight back after all the raids have been taking people’s lives. Henrik thinks differently but respects his partner’s choice to go to war. Styr first started as a Medic then trained to be a warrior.
  - When Styr started out as a Medic, he was also studying and practicing
Alchemy in a better more effective way to heal his fellow soldiers at the
Battlefield as well as more convenient ways of battle.

~ When he arrived in Hovell his job was cut out for him and he spent most of his days healing and saving the soldiers from battle, only once did he get back on the boat to make sure the wounded got home safe. In the short amount of time he was back in Dutoria he got to see Henrik and that’s all that mattered. He got back on that boat and remained in Hovell for the duration of the war.

~ In his attempt to save lives he was often exposed to defending and fighting in battle. His accident with the Manticore being one of the scariest moments of his life, having to dodge the giant feline while in flight and getting snagged on his chest by sharp giant claws. He could have very easily died that day.
  - Another situation but this one much funnier was the run-in with the
‘Cactus Warrior’ a very angry...short...very thorny individual that threw
cactuses at him. How crazy do you have to be? Oddly enough It wasn’t the
The only time he encountered them, and later he would actually save their
life In the battlezone.

Last year of the War
492 A.E.D

~ He wished greatly he could go home and see Henrik again.

~ Sometime in November as the war was ending, he is lured into a trap by a Traitor and a group of Kidnappers whose intent was to haul pairs of mutated or otherwise normal people and dragons to Ironbrook and sell them as test subjects as things were dying down...who was going to care about a few missing people when there is a war going on?
  - There with him and the other victims was the Cactus Warrior from before.
  - In his stay with the kidnappers they would roughen and weaken their
victims. His feathers and plants were clipped and pulled, wings chained along
with his arms and legs. Similar things would be done to the others there. All
put into cages.
  - Two horrible weeks in, a young soldier he befriended earlier on in the War
of Seasons attempted a rescue but failed. For that week, That soldier was
tortured and beaten down until they were eventually killed from all their
wounds. Styr was the angriest he had ever been in his life.

~ It would take him a total whole month to get himself out of that mess. One of the Kidnappers had gotten too trusting and comfortable. In a moment of viciousness, Styr threw himself on them and bit into their neck with sharp gnarly teeth. Pinning them to the floor with his weight and clamping onto them until they stopped moving. Once they had bled out, he searched the body for keys, weapons, and anything else quickly and freed himself then the Cactus Warrior.

~ Once that was done, Styr left freeing the others to his new friend and took his revenge on the kidnappers.

The long way Home
493 A.E.D

~ In January he and oddly enough his new buddy chilled, trying to heal their wounds. Styr asks them what their name is, they say “It’s Acer”. He asks questions about how to get back home and make money the quickest way possible to pay a ship back to Theavia. Acer says “it’s bounty hunting basically.” Really??
  - In late February and early March when he was mostly healed up he took
two bounties as the quickest way to get money and go back home.

~ He pays a ship to go back to Dutoria around late March, he got enough money to take himself and even his new friend to Dutoria.
  - From May to late October he spends on a damn ship. Longest 8 months of
his existence but it was bearable with his new friend, who had taken up
knitting him a cute blue-purple scarf as a gift.

~ He gets home safe and….sound. Henrik was so relieved to see Styr again and almost toppled him.
  - Styr introduces Acer to Henrik and both of them are menaces together...

Home sweet home
494 A.E.D - 504 A.E.D

~ In the aftermath, he returned to work eventually with Henrik of course wanting him to spend more time on himself and being ok. Styr and Henrik helped rebuild affected areas, for the most part, moving onto farming to aid those who couldn’t feed themselves and went into teaching.
  - Sty and Henrik in this time became High Priests.

~ He’s been just chillin since then...though. He has been having nightmares of those times, flashes of memory here and there, sometimes on edge even when nothing is going on. Henrik has been a giant help. Like he’s always been.

RELATIONSHIPSHenrik: The love of his life and the best person in his eyes. Styr would do everything in the world for Henrik, would go to the ends of the earth for him and his Husband knows that and would do the same for Styr. Both of them are unbelievably close and Henrik may be one of the only people alive who truly understand him in all his intricacies.

Acer: A dear friend of his, It’s odd to reminisce about their meeting knowing it started on opposite sides of the war and ended with both of them stuck in a horrible situation. Acer has seen the savage, brutal side of Styr more than Henrik has...at least initially speaking...

Eyvindur: A grumpy soldier he bumped into frequently during the war, He looked like he needed many hugs.

Feathered Child: Odd child that would Vibrate at him and ask him so many questions he barely comprehended when he was stuck in Cyr. He still wonders what happened to this child.

The Mortician: A prickly tall Hovellian he frequently saw after battles, caring for bodies of dead soldiers both on Dutoria’s side and Hovell’s.

EXTRARumors/Reputation:
In Dutoria he has a very great reputation for being a high-standing caring member of Children of Blom despite his extremely emotionless looking sharp appearance. He has gone to many orphanages like in his youth, farms, re-education centers, schools, and when he became a High Priest he would also help Viceroys / Counts and plan city events with Henrik.

In Cyr during the War, he was called an ‘Angel of Death’ by the Enemy lines as he would often be seen in the smoky sky swooping down to heal or take someone out of battle or in some cases picking Hovillian warriors up and throwing them around. He would also throw down sharp weapons, bombs, and deadly potions from above.

In his short time as a Bounty hunter, he showed a great affinity for Poisoning his Targets and having them die painlessly.

~ Styr’s mouth and teeth are more Borg-like , as a side-effect of this leans more towards eating meat.
~ His blood is a Dark purple and when his skin flushes it reflects that color.
~ If you want to read his emotions, instead of looking at his Facial expressions which are basically N o n e; look at his wings, feathers, ‘plants’, and tattoos. You are more likely to tell what he feels through the way they move.
  - Only people close to him can really read the way his eyes show emotion.

~ The floral magical tattoos are ever-changing and move around his body including but not limited to limbs, hair, and ‘plants’. The locations in which the tattoos move can sometimes depend on his emotions and other times not. His colors shift from Blue to Purple and then Pink, The colors could also change due to emotional response and may do a 'ripple' motion in color similar to a cuttlefish.
  - Example of Anger affecting his Tattoos in several ways.

~ The odd ‘plants’ growing from him sprout mainly from his back, at the connection point of his second pair of wings.
  - These plants can also overgrow if they are not clipped.
  - Clipping these plants causes no actual harm to him, the plants
function similarly to hair in that regard...So pulling them out would be more
painful than simply clipping them.
  - The plants that grow from him are Oleander and an odd type of Thorny
vines similar to that of Roses. Oleander’s are an extremely Toxic plant and
the poison does not affect him.
  - The ‘plants’ on his body are unconsciously moving and shifting, though they
may be controlled by him if he focuses on them a little bit.

~ Parts of his body, especially the parts that are more plant-like have this extended flexibility that allows him to bend his anatomy in a way that is worrying.
~ His second/outer pair of wings are sharp all along the bottom edge of the wings/feathers. They are used mostly in defense and offense due to how blade-sharp they are. In-flight, they function as normal wings but are sometimes used to steer better.
