Nice composition! I like how the curving branch leads the eye through the image.

Barn owl: Hmmmmm...am I really hungry....? Or just unstimulated?

Barn owl: Oh...

Oh wow this is really gorgeous! I love the soft shading of both the owl and the branch. Really lovely work Owls are such beautiful creatures, they're probably my favourite birds.

You should be proud, that came out very, very well. The pencil is so smooth and I really like all the details you put into the branch. You used a tutorial, yes, but this is an excellent start.

Thank you, though I don't think I should be given too much credit. My tree branch looks very similar to the one in the tutorial. I tried my best to make it my own. I was a little dissapointed it turned out looking so similar to Puimun's. Her tree's are so unique it can be hard not to make them look so similar if you try out her style.

Well if you hadn't malready told me you took the course, I would say you don't need it! But yesh, yes indeed, this is very great work, and how you get pencil to not smudge is beyond me, but has stunning effect!

I've done pencil work before, I just love Punuim's style so much that I wanted to try out her shading techniques.

Well as a man who can't shade to save his life, I still say it's very well done.
