Description DO NOT FULL VIEW!
Also called Ajou the Priestess Daughter. Incidenltly Aijou means "Beloved Daughter" anyway this is Aijou from my Inuyasha fanfic "My Will" she is the daughter of Kikyo and Inuyasha. (Read the story to understand it better) she's 1/4th demon but I noticed demon traites are very dominant. She is suppost to look a lot like her mother.

No I did not draw this image I only recolored it. I do not own the original image and I am making no money from this.

Inuyasha (C) Rumiko Takahashi (C)

I'm sick of you mental amoebas having fits about people experimenting with art. You do not need permission from Rumiko Takahashi to screw around with a screencap. As long as you give a disclaimer, then it's fine.

Secondly, deviantart finds it perfectly acceptable as long as you have altered it in your own special way, or have put it in the 'screencaptures' section. Hence why they allow people to put up wallpapers of fanarts they've found on here, or wallpapers of manga from the artists.

If you have a problem with how deviantart allows this, then I suggest you look for fanart elsewhere and take your complaints with you.

It's understandable to remind someone "You forgot to put a disclaimer on your description", but in this case there is nothing wrong. Lady-warrior has CLEARLY put a specific note up that the artwork is not her's, that she is not making money from this picture, and that it is purely for her own entertainment and for sharing with others that she created this piece of work. I repeat, she does NOT say that just because she edited it she thinks of Kikyou or the image of Kikyou as her own personal art.

Please understand the fine differences between allowed and not allowed, and stop being so stupid.

Lady-warrior, I commend you for how adept you are at coloring photographs. And also I thank you for putting that disclaimer up there. I apologise for the fools who obviously can't read.

Hoooooly shit that was an extremely old comment and something I wouldn't even do nowadays.
Sorry to have disappointed you while reading that?

But tracing over an image is kind of a bad thing to do in the first place, so... yeah...

it's not tracing, and it's not bad. it's an edit. It's says so, everywhere. Are we done with this yet? VoV

The only person who decided to bring that comment from 2006 back up was you, lmao. I was done with whatever before I even remembered that comment existed. You didn't have to respond to anything at all.

But the thing is, they're still using someone else's work without permission, editing over it, tracing it, etc.
Imagine if you worked countless hours on a drawing or painting or animation, a personal work, which you put work into, time, effort, and years of study and practice and critique, and find that someone else has traced over your work or worse, edited your artwork? A person saw your work but decided "you know what, I'll make that person's drawing look like my characters" and take about like ten minutes changing hair and eye colors, and call it a day. This is called defacing someone's artwork, vandalism, etc.

And don't think I'm trying to "start something", I am only trying to promote awareness of how negative editing is. People can and will do whatever they want because people are people. But why not try to ACTUALLY draw something, and be able to proudly say "man, I drew this!", study, improve. Studying someone else's work is great for improvement, but editing does absolutely nothing to help you improve, and is damaging for the original artist.

Give me a scanner an i will send the crap i draw. It ctually takes hours to color it perfectly. I would let someone "vandalize," but remember mine was the original, and mine is still able to be seen. It's not like I took down all of her portraits from the internet, that would make anyone mad. Why can you not be the grown up and quit wasting time to speak with me.
