Imo, one of the worst fandoms regarding shipping is the Fairy Tail fanbase, especially since the majority of the main ships are gonna be canon.

I ship a lot, and I've been in several fights over peterick vs petekey and frerard vs frikey (me on the peterick and frerard sides lmao) but yes I agree with this. Shipping is fun, yes, but that leads to people fighting over who gets who and God forbid incestuous ships like waycest. Fuck that ship. There is more to fandoms than shipping, go and enjoy some cool art or watch some crack videos.

I give you all of my yays. That seems to be the only thing people care about these days Oh my God, that is exactly the reason I don't support shipping it's too weird to me. Especially Rabid shippers whose DA gallery is filled with nothing but Yaoi ships or Yuri ships they seriously irritate the hell out of me. It's probably the only thing they can create

One of the reasons I am gradually starting to hate shipping is the fact that it's in every fandom out there and people seem to care about who is cuter with who instead of the plot... I ship some characters in some series, and it's nice but I also care for what happens in the story.

I ship, but I leave other pairings alone. I support Rigleen (Rigby and Eileen from Regular Show) but yo don't see me bashing Morby (Mordecai and Rigby). I just look and then go away without commenting

Yeah I have to agree. Granted even though I ship a lot because I'm huge sucker for romance, but I think about other things in fandom besides shipping related stuff.
I also agree that shipping wars are pointless. Fandom is supposed be for fun, we don't need to take shipping uber seriously. Just let people like and dislike whatever they want. Heck, it's not the end of the world if someone doesn't agree with your OTP or what not.
