So I was randomly going through some fellow deviants' galleries, my little bro ~Rave-Wire included, & noticed the Sonic-related style they had.
Now, I used to be a huge fan of Sonic (Mario is still #1 to me, though). I remember watching his Saturday morning cartoon all the time. And I think Beast Wars came on after that...

...anyway, I used to draw Sonic-style characters a lot. So much so, that I got used to drawing that way & could do so whenever I chose. Over time, as I moved on & Sonic stopped airing (I don't too much care for his newer shows), I lost the style.
In a way, Ms. Roxxie here is me trying to see if I could still pull the style off. It's a bit rough, I know, but it's better than what I thought I could do. I didn't use any refs, just went off of the main points of Sonic characters: Big heads, small bodies, huge hands & feet. :/ Sounds about right, yes?
Blah. So, I introduce to you my pheasant OC, Roxxie. I don't know if she's here to stay or if she'll fall to the wayside. She was more of an experiment than anything else, really...

Here are some random stats I just came up with for her:

Name: Roxxie
Species: Pheasant
Age: 17
Gender: Female (duh?)

Roxxie is a pheasant who absolutely loves rock-style music. She tends to wear a lot of leather; she likes the way it feels. Her favorite color is red and she loves to pair it with either black or navy blue. She loves jackets, especially ones with lots of buttons (even if they serve no purpose). She's almost always seen wearing a belt, and it's never usually the regular buckle-type. Roxxie loves to sing and even plays a little guitar. She wants to eventually become a pro at it. She speaks with a slight New Jersey accent.
