Description
This is the Garfield I drew by hand and then colored via photoshop (I don't know where my pencils are..
) from the 9-29 Garfield comics. Garfield is registered to Jim DavisI also would like to add, just in case, if you think I am in violation, please let me know first. I did do the drawing by hand, from the 1.5in x 1.5in comic strip window.. But since "Garfield" himself is not "my" original, but Jim Davis'. I'd rather just take them down, than get in trouble.. Thanks...

Excellent render and coloring .. Garfield is awesome. also Calvin and Hobbes .. they are my faves .. but Garfield's up there too.

I don't thing that would cause any troubles. I saw on Deviant many fan arts connected with comics. I think it's only the matter of writing who is the original writer or illustrator and where it originally came from.

Oh.. Thank you.. But I don't think it's all that you make it out to be.. I don't "draw" I copy.. And only simple things, really.. Like I said in my journal, I don't think being able to copy someone elses work all that valuable.. Now.. If I could to do it to more detailed stuff, then I might feel different.. But then, I also don't have the patience to do something that would be very time consuming.. But I do thank you.. and Hey.. I'm jealous that you're taking singins lessons..

I am sure that you have talent. You probably have many talents.. You just may not think of them as such... Perhaps not all of them would be considered artistic, or be visual on paper in an artistic way.. But, to people who can't walk and chew gum at the same time.. They would view someone who could as being talented.. Some have the talent of being super, super smart but not have any common sense.. It is all how you view it..

hehehe.. Yep.. it counts.. Can you type and talk at the same time? I can't.. I have to stop typing so I can listen to whoever is talking.. I can't concentrate on both at the same time.. I also can't play on the computer and listen to music at the same time. And people just can't imagine that.. I get caught up in the music that I can't concentrate on what I'm doing.. kinda like the can't listen and type thing..

I have always loved to type.. I only took one typing class and that was when I was in high school.. On a regular keyboard, I am maxxed out at 80 wpm.. However, what is really odd, I think, is that I type much faster on a laptop.. that is 120 wpm.. But, If I am concentrating on what I am doing, ie.. typing from my head, like I am doing now.. I have to concentrate.. and I can't concentrate on two things at the same time..

Wow! you are fast! I type about 75 wpm consistantly on the typewriter or keyboard and don't use a laptop much so I don't know. My brain can multi-task but sometimes my body can't keep up. LOL

Sounds as if you and I are alike in some ways. I have never done a fast two step but I wouldn't mind trying it. I am hoping to take swing dancing lessons in the near future.
