I think all our stargazers must have died out or perhaps their bulbs/roots/corms or whatever they are called are tasty to the stewpid tree rats?? The blasted squirrels even ate some shallot starts that I had planted in a pot on the porch last year ...so who knows??

You're welcome I know the tree rats around here have been investigating the flowerbed some. Usually they are trying to bury black walnuts in there Little bastards, if they are eating my flowers just wait 'til I get my lightsabre out of the shop

I've got some purple, blue and pink flowers blooming now. I haven't a clue what they are. I haven't got any shots of them yet--they wilt almost as fast as they bloom I doubt any of the shots I take from the flowerbed will ever see DA or even processing but I'll either text you some pics or email them.

well, Bob's mom has blamed it on the poor chipmunks for years ...but the wee chipmunks are merely trying to pick up their portion of the 5 million gazillion maple propeller seeds that drive us absolutely and other tiny things... whilst trying desperately not to become lunch for Inspector Comet The tree rats, on the other hand, are the major perpetrators of doom and destruction in the flower beds... and even potted plants on the porch!! and yes, they bury their ignorant black walnuts, oaks, and other such pesky trees in our flower beds... all of which, I wouldn't mind ...if they were just smart enough to remember WHERE they buried them ...and come back and get them!

Ahh thank you my dear Mary-Anne How ya' been lately? We've been working like idiots grabbing for the almighty just to pay the damn bills... that I haven't had much time to be here lately ...and I still haven't shared those promised pictures of the awesome restoration work that Sir Bob did to our motorhome last year

buuuuuuuuuut I think the 2nd round of antibiotic for my chronic ear infection may just be doing the trick!! Not only can I hear some sound out of that ear, now - but, I think that my overall balance in walking may just be improving - so !! (golly! I sure hope so! )

Hello Alice Sorry I am so late in replying I don't get on much these days, I have not been taking a lot of photos lately and the ones I have seem to be of Flies or Bees and they are not an interest to many people so I don't put them on here. I don't seem to have much energy these days so doing a lot of nothing at present, though Tony and I go for a walk down to the local Lagoon and around it and back home every day it used to take me 40 minutes to do that almost 4km walk now its taking 45 minutes so I guess I am slowing down..

I will see those photos when you get around to it I don't mind waiting as I know just how busy you both are.

Really pleased to read that you ear infection is clearing up and you balance is improving that is good news

Thank you Tris! Well most of our lilies have multiple blooms... because we've had them for years... but, this little guy only had the two... so I thought it looked neat
