Description
Here is a drawing I did for a fantasy book contest I try to enter ever year. This pic was done about a year or so ago. Its a big contest and it was fun to enter to get professional ppl looking at my work. I usually make it into the finals but that's about it. But just to have them view and give some pointers on my work is great.^^Hope you enjoy.^^

wow, this is amazing. is especially like the dragons flappy ear thingies whatever they are called. i'm not overly sure about the girl though. i think she is drawn well. the light on her is good along with most parts but i just don't like her face, or her hair, her fingers look funny and i don't know what's going on with her legs. but hey, i just don't like people. which may have alot to do with it. but yeah i love the dragon (even though it's hands look a bit smooth and i am not sure abouy the scales or it's tooth) and the cave stalagtights. the shading and the colour and wonderful. the textures you've made on there, like the roughness of most of it, and then you look at the dragon's eye. yeah that's a really good eye. excuse the bad points, there do seem to be many. but i do really like this. but it's mainly the dragons head i like. it's done extremely well.

this is really pretty. i dont supose you'd be interested in doing a collab one time? (im fairly good at dragons, but i have problems with realistic people. it would be interesting *^^* )

wow your pretty popular. It took me like 5 minutes to scroll down and give a comment. sheesh. But that's a good thing because your artwork deserves another comment of what you probably hear more times than you might like to. Your art work is awesome. You've given me some ideas with pictures now. Instead of making simple pencil drawings I could try gray colored pencils...I knew I could use those things for something. Sorry for writing a book ^_^ Great job.

I truly like your style to work, this is a stunning piece. Wish I was this girl in the picture, I've always wanted to have a dragon as a friend. The emotion is also just beautiful, so peaceful and bursting of happiness to be together with the one who's precious. All the round shapes here also give it this some kind of balance. Great work, I have to go check rest of your gallery as well. And congratulations on the DD!

The dragon is ery well done- and this is coming from someone who thinks non asain dragons are very cheesy. I love the colors, or lack thereof. The only thing that dosn't work for me is her hair. I just don't like her hairstyle. It's silly, I know.
But all in all- shows you have a lot of patience and talent.

Some people have said that this piece of work is imaginative. I would not agree, it's the usual dragon/chick/cave piece.
Having said that, that is seriously professional drawing. In fact I'm sure I've seen picures half as good as that in fantasy art books. Well done

the grays really do give it a special beauty... it feels like something ancient, the kind of picture that you'd see in the pages of a fantasy history book... which is, yeah, basically the theme of what you entered it in ^^ forgive my redundance.
if you keep working at that level and get better, i'm sure you'll go past the finals and win one day!
