Released from their man-made prison, Cairo and his three new mares trek for what seems like forever across the plains. Several months into their trek they stumble into what seems a paradise-- a lush green forest, fed recently by the onset of the wet season. The mares, their bellies heavy with growing foals, are only to happy to take advantage of the fresh growth. The change in seasons only serves as a reminder, though. Somewhere out on the plains, Aharon and Hathor and the fillies wander without their leader's protection. With no concept of where to begin the search Cairo can only wander and hope, and he is beginning to lose faith.
