This is like... an ancient sketch that I fixed up and finished because I love my Karter, and I never ever draw her. Then again, I don't seem to draw a lot of my characters... Oopsy. I guess that's what happens when you have near 100 of them. Haha.Anyways, Karter is one of Cory 's good friends. They've been friends since high school and share a lot of personality traits (like being flaky and bitchy.) Karter teaches swordsmanship as a day job, because she thinks using a blade properly is a true and beautiful art that's going unappreciated in the age of guns. Which is why she carries a sword. Besides sparring, she has never once raised a weapon against someone else.
Cellshadinngggggg. I don't really like how this came out, but I didn't want to piddle with it anymore. So here. Art!

Polka dots can be badass! And shoes. Goodness, I love designing shoes so much. I wish that would be an actual career, since I could have a whole line of pin-up heels! 
Dude. I like this masterpost idea. I am so considering doing that on tumblr... Or having a separate blog for just character profiles, so I can keep them all together and organized! <3

Yeah! I vote for either one! <333 I've seen a few of the Tumblr OC blogs around and they're pretty swell. I love it especially when people ask the characters questions and they answer em in-character.

Just sayin, I think that the polka dots you've incorporated into her design are oh-so-deceptive. That, and I really love the simplistic background. The colors and simple composition really work for her, especially when you factor in all them polka dots. I have a feeling those took a loooooong time, but I think it paid off really well.

You have a really good knack for choosing a theme and using it tastefully in your outfits (in this case, polka dots)! The more I look at it, the more I think I can just go on and on complimenting the details, so to save you the trouble I'll just give it a fave.
