The instrument I'm playing with is an alto violin. I bought it exactly ten years ago, back in 2003! It was made by a very talented luthier, I can't remember his name (Hortz, or something), who wasn't really known by the time. So while I bought the violon for 1500€ (2000$) back then, its sound is equivalent to a 10 000€ (13 000$) instrument!
I am currently restoring the little thing, with new strings and everything.
