¡Nooo, cómo crées! ¡JAJAJAJA! Mil disculpotas, la neta a veces ando super distraída.... Y de burra se me van las chivas y todo me pasa.

No, no te preocupes. Al contrario, perdón por el sustillo. JAJAJA.

HAHAHA, yeah, lolstupdi me thougt it'd be more like shadows, ended up with daaark flames (wat).

Whaat but dear nebuuuuu! Sweet Germany of my heart! I do love your music! HAHAHA I guess I listened to the 99 Luftbaloons (without realising it was Nena, just some years back thanks to an ol' friend) since I was a kid, and several 70's and 80's german pop songs as well! You germans have really nice music bands! TT////////3////////TT

Yeah, dat song really hit me hard aside the beautiful "Irgendwie, Irgendwo, Irgendwann" one (Oh, lords those songs are AWESOME ////3//// ).

Hmm, yeah, Nena forever! :3

Nebuschadnezaa In reply to LadyCat17 [2018-11-22 20:40:37 +0000 UTC]

Hihi, no doupt I'm not a Nena fan, but I think she belongs already to the history of german music. Thers some covers of her like this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUVUCf… Ten years before Nena got a little bit fame again but  agenre named "Schlager" kicked her out of the stage. Bruh, Schlager... Its old-people music a real post-war genre. Maybe the older music of it could interesting you cause they played accordion. Now it's a party mash up with Techno and a lot of awkward love-lyrics : P Blargh.

But at my childhood in the middle of the 90s I was more influenced by other german groups like Kraftwerk. Their style sounded like toys for me Oh, also the german Punk Band "Die Ärzte". That one song by them smashed into my brain forever: www.youtube.com/watch?v=xT-n_k… Or that one. The lyrics are mean to those ex-girlfriend complexes (so dont try to translate it) but has this crazy music-video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNJ0MW… . And in the near of the 90s came Engel by Rammstein. You know what kind of hype raised then

But unfortunately I dont know about mexican 80s pop-rock o Punk music. Come on Gato something has Mexico to offer

LadyCat17 In reply to Nebuschadnezaa [2018-11-23 04:19:54 +0000 UTC]

Ahhh! But if that's kickass musiiiic! *Dances to your first link* :3

HAHAHH! ZOMFG! I do know Die Ärtze. Pfft, an ol' love kind of showed'em to me looooooooooooooooooooooong ago. :3 Nice punk music I think!
Indeed, I knew Rammstein's" Spieluhr" when I was.. 14-15 years old, then I started to get more interested in 'em and in german culture... (ol' Gato teenage days), hahaha. I like Rammstein yet, but now I listen to 'em again with shittons of nostalgia, reminds me my ol' early highschool days.

About mexican music from 80s and 90s... I dont' remember mexican 80s music very well (I can't recall anything)... I personally don't like mexican or spanish-language rock. And I dunno any old mexican punk band. As my ma likes a pop rock mexican band Maná (they actually sound cool, but sometimes I get tired from the vocalist, and their lyrics are as well, in some songs, stupid), there are few songs that are sad and actually beautiful.. But I'm not so fan of 'em. Anyway I like this one from'em so much, it's "La Sirena" (The Mermaid): youtu.be/dizvDsFUMxI

Now on the stuff I can recall better... Mostly pop. Maybe the popular Magneto boyband that made a cover of "Voyage Voyage" on 1991 youtu.be/f8xYX6ZUcBY 'twas the fuck popular even a few years later... HEHE, funny/ridiculous dancing, but I like the song. Quite catchy.

I liked the 90s music from a mexican pop singer named Fey. As she sang cute songs (wat I was 10 years old), and the music had obbbviously Eurodance style (thing I like), I was happy, for example "Media naranja" (literally means "half of an orange", but it's for calling someone your soulmate): youtu.be/mduVi6XnZbA . I also liked just one song from another pop mexican group named Kabah (like the mayan city)... The song is "La calle de las sirenas" (Mermaids street), I liked the lyrics so much... So magical and full o' fantasy: youtu.be/XCSHiHj8mTc

Hmm, also from the good ol' (and ridiculous 90s), my fav band was Moenia. Anooother pop mexican band, who indeed took inspiration from bands/projects like Depeche Mode or even Pet Shop Boys:"Déjame entrar" (Let me in) youtu.be/f8xYX6ZUcBY and "No dices más" (You dont' say anything else): youtu.be/AORm6bzqXRI are my fav songs from'em. Ahh, the nostalgia.

México isn't just mariachis (actually I dont' like so much that genre that's called as "ranchera"), but hey, I love dearly the old oooooooold school Norteña music. Thanks to that I like the accordion. :'///) A classic, "Flor de capomo": youtu.be/yd_AMP-nOx0

Dunno what else to tell. HAHAHA, hope ya like some of the music in thurr, mah dear. :3

México offers a lot of great stuff, and some stupid shite as well. Like anywhere in dis beautiful world. HAHAH

Many thanks mah sweet Nebuu! Hab dich lieb!

Nebuschadnezaa In reply to LadyCat17 [2018-12-02 18:05:19 +0000 UTC]

XDXDXDXDXD Oh yeah Eurodance. That genre is mash mix of so many other genres I thought. Just like this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlYDqL… Organ music with a female serenade interrupted by a rap battle Wll how that listen like?

Honestly listened euro too. Like the german band Pharao and their smash hits "There's a star" or
"Take me to the world of magic" even with rap battle.

Hey that Fey gal sounds lovely. And no rap battle is interrupting Its really moderate to that fast eurodance from the UK. Well I'll browse through YT what that Fey composed.

Damn it, the EU never noticed music beside from the USA. So I have no clue about mexican pop culture. Same thing to russian stuff. Actually spanish language for music sounds really good. I remember the powermetal band Arkania with their song "Corazon de juglar". The language of the conquistadores son muy bueno.

LadyCat17 In reply to Nebuschadnezaa [2018-12-03 17:07:22 +0000 UTC]

Oooh! I didn't know dat song...O////O And also no idea about Pharaoh. HEHEHE. Yeah, it was pretty common to listen a soft female voice and boom, a wild rapper appeared in certain parts of the songs. HAHAHA I guess ya get used to it. :'///I Still it's a bit of a cognitive dissonance, isn't it?

Hmm, ah, yes, Fey had really cheesy-teenager pop songs, but they're catchy and cute. Now it's nostalgia. Also Fey was such a sensation here in México and even more as we learned she was way older than she appeared in the videos as a teenager when she was a young adult. Seems time doesn't pass on her at all   She's a beautiful woman and capable singer. I remember songs like "Popocatépetl" (yep, like the mexican biggest active volcano) and one of my favs when I was a kid:"Gatos el el balcón" (Cats on a balcony), yeah ya can guess why I liked the song. HAHAHA.

I think Kabah band dissolved and Moenia is still kicking around, but with their first vocalist (a voice I don't like..). The beauty of the song I shared to ya was with Juan Carlos Lozano: their second - and best - vocalist in mah opinion.

Ah, no worries, I think USA indeed influenced a lot of stuff in many countries. I can tell, I thought all artists were american ( sort of) until years later thanks to internet and stuff, I realised artists were from other parts of the globe. Tell ya dat: Germany has awesome musical projects. And also some mexicans indeed also thought of everything coming from USA.

Welll... I dunno. HAHAHA I don't like actual mexican pop (and certainly I didn't like it so much anyways from the exceptions I showed ya), and the low quality folk music that's popular. They talk about glamouring drug dealing shit, porno shit as well... And Gods. Hope the creator of reggaeton burns in hell (nice thing hell doesn't exist), but that shitstain of music already invaded dis piece o' soil called Mexico. It's awful.

Some rock en español (rock in spanish) fans liked bands from Spain and from Argentina I think? I dunno, I also didn't like'em. HAHAHA, here ya can find as their faves the legendary band "Héroes del Silencio" but I find boring and like a goats baaah singing to their vocalist. Some can throw rocks at me, but I don't like his singing, the music is fine but no singing, please. And I think Soda Estéreo and Babasónicos, yep, those fellas were from Argentina.

Hmm, also here ya can find a supposedly rock mexican band named "El Tri", some dumbtards compare their vocalist as the mexican Ozzy Osbourne (THE FUCK, than I'm Miss Universe, then). His voice is.... raspy... Awful. Kitschy style. (WTF mexicans...).

Another more  90s mexican rock-rap bands (I don't like as well), but I admit have some funny lyrics, random shite and strong basslines is Molotov. Beware, they say some swearing and hmmm, things not appropiate for minors. Mexican style.

Other bands popular here in the rock scene are: Caifanes, Jaguares, La maldita Vecindad... But again: me don't like.

Maybe check about 'em and ya can find something that ya might like.

Ahh, about russian pop... I do like to watch old soviet films thanks to a russian friend dat suggested me to watch some movies, they have nice music, Heheh :3 I remember a "Ya pole yagoda navsegda" song.... Catchy song. And more recent pop obviously: t.A.T.u. I do love those gals... Heheh and the Serebro ones. But I'd like to know more.

Ah, sorry for such a walltext. u////////o And yep! Spanish is such a wide and varied language. Mexican spanish has it's crazyness, like any language variant. :3

It's always to read your comments mah dear Nebu

Take care and be happy, dear amiguito!

Heroes del Silencio?! Oh, I know it, I know it !! Like for Nenas Someday I know a Techno cover for Entre dos tierras: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZfQv9… Maybe you like this female vocals more than the original. And Indeed the original front guy sounds like a goat. He's the Antichrist; like the possessed goat in the movie Drag me To Hell But the sound of the plugged Guitar is awesome, so I love it for the cover song too.

Haha, Caifanes have a song named La negra Tomasa ... Sounds more Salsa than Rock. I guess a lot of these mexican bands has the quality of Indie-Music. It's like you linked me on Jamendo[dot]com. Of their all musical skill they ain't no bad, but I miss a potential. And taste is a faculty for its self. *derp*

Gato know so many about music. Maybe you should work in a music store if the job as Ad-Designer is annoying you... Actually I wouldnt have a clue for it what people listen today... Many Dubstep with Soul in movie score trailer

Thank you for that excursion. Just a little bit more learned about Mehico

Hahaha, ya know La Negra Tomasa! although I'm not a fan, it was thanks to dat song I named our black cat as "Tomasa". :3 HAHAHA

Ahh, well, I dunno so much about music, mah dear. I like to listen to it, but when it comes to understanding the musical theories and more deep study on it... I dunno nothing.

Ah, also forgot, check Hombres G, another great band from Spain. Catchy songs, strong basslines. :3

Hahahha, It doesn't sound bad to work in a music store, but my knowledge isn't dat awesome :3 HEHEHE

Yeah, nowadays music has it's style. Sometimes stupid, sometimes going retro, something new... Right now I'm listening to great pagan-nordic music recent projects. Ahh, the gods be praised. It's so refreshing and nice. :3

I'm glad ya learned somethin' new about us, mah dear Nebu! Hehehe.
