Sorry for Your loss!
My Bride has lost at least 6 budgies, but the last two were very beloved by her, Gyuri, the male lived 13 years .
But now we have 2 Linnies (Lineolated Parakeet), and although they are little troublemakers, we love them .

Yes, they are, but it is very hard to sleep next to them (not in their cage , but in the room. They are very active in the morning. One is flying and shouting back and forth in the room, and the other one gives her advices to him from the cage .

Awww I know how it feels to loose ones best budgie buddy I've lost too many allready I will always miss them, it's so sad It's a very nice tribute photo you got here for him, he looks like a little budgi angel
