Maaaaaaaaacey! <3 I was calling him in for his bath (he was a fair distance from the gate; this is zoomed in) and all he did was stand there and whuffle excitedly at me. I love him.

I love your pictures, and I would like to see more taken of you and the horses taken by your Mum. Your hair looks like it is the same color as the Clydedales' coats, and you would make a great subject for a painting with those horses. Your face next to their face, and your hair mingled with their mane. If you have seen my art work I love beauty, people, horses, dogs, and animals. I'm going to keep watching you. I am 60 years old this year, and for some reason I just love the draft horses. They are such gentle giants. Your site gives me a great deal of pleasure, and in the future I hope to paint you with one of your horses. The great thing about DA is I can travel all over the world and see such wonderful sites without having to travel or spend money. Thankyou for sharing your wonderful horses with us. Thank you so much for such a lovely comment! It really makes my day to hear things like that - I love knowing the Shires are appreciated. They're beautiful creatures and I just want other people to be able to share a bit of what I have, so I'm really glad that you like the photos. I realise I'm extremely lucky. If you'd like to see some more photos taken by my mum - who is a much better photographer than me - there's a few in one of my Facebook galleries here: [link] (with the exception of IDs, I don't upload them to my DA account because I didn't take them, so I don't think it's right to display them in my art gallery).
I understand your love of the heavy horse, I can't find the words to express how much I adore them myself - which is probably why I've turned to photography instead!
Your paintings really are beautiful, it's a skill I've never had. I love how you manage to get all the individual hairs on the dogs' coats. The ears on the spaniel and papillon are just gorgeous!
