thanks! And no, it's not. It's actually something like a self-portrait. Also, there unfortunately won't be much in the way of illustrations from Tales of the Fatherless anymore...my co-writer and I are no longer speaking due to some personal issues. :/

Ohhh I'm sad to hear that! I hope you can find a way to get on with your wonderful illustration and stories some time, either with your co-worker or by yourself with your own characters. (I have no idea of that's possible, considering the way you divided the creative process, and I don't mean to pry, but just saying I'd love to see more of your OCs)

Since I'm a magic nerd, it's a universe/land where a lot of the problems of plot arise when the leaders of society realize that a type of magic they thought wasn't a thing is, indeed, a thing. And it's not understood well, not researched well, and wonderfully chaotic. So far, I have a driving force being the research and development of theories of this particular new magic. It starts from the point of view of an 8 year old kid. Oh, and he's not the main character, he's technically secondary, but you see the story from his eyes anyway. I also have it being a fictional world with some really dramatic terrain. Mostly just doing whatever I want now that I have the freedom to do so
