Description
During the hot summer days,The poor sweet dove
has to stay in the cage.
She thinks its alright
Because she doesn't like sunlight,
As she is the dove,
who flies deep at night.
Her slient cries,
are too quiet to say.
For she has nothing to occupy
the empty day.
She has a feeling,
There might be change.
That maybe,
It will even break the cage.
She hopes in excitement
That she'll finally become free,
But the man who owns her
Tortures her to scream.
Reminding of her of all the hard days to come.
Making her think shes nothing,
but a no one.
Tears slip down from her eyes,
As she endlessly cries
Covering her face with wet goodbyes,
and dreams of skies.
She stops with a thought,
Realises her spot,
That she MUST keep on dreaming,
For that is the only thing
That keeps her heart beating.
