I'm not sure whether you read the ending chapter so I'm going to put a SPOILER ALERT here just to be safe.................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... I found the ending a bit disappointing, to be honest. Some of the pairings made little sense and though I kind of stopped caring about most of the ships a while ago, I can't help but feel that Kishimoto chose those pairings more out of convenience than anything else. I feel like he chose those ships only because he wanted to displease as little fans as possible. As I said, most pairings made little sense to me. But the characters had to have their happy endings and the Uchiha Clan had to revived in order for Sasuke to complete his "goals in life". And really, we all know that Sakura is the only one that made enough sense for that.......However, I do believe that if Sasuke had died or had something happen to him that would have taken him away from the village, NaruHina wouldn't have stood a chance. NaruSaku made and still makes the most sense to me.......

Mhmm naruto and hinata didn't really speak that much in the first couple of seasons and Sakura has always been the closest to naruto idk but narusaku makes the most sense to me too....

Did I ever comment on this and tell you that I saw this picture years ago on youtube ((I didn't click to see)) and I ASSUMED that it had happened, and it is one of the reasons I marathoned the anime hopeful I would see this moment... I was disappointed BUT I did get to see the hug <3 so that was good.
