Edit: I see that in many mistook the hair part for a tongue and this kind of made me feel quite uncomfortable since that’s totally NOT what I wanted to represent. So here you go, removed completely so that it doesn't ruin the symbolism. Thank you for the feedback!

I really loved Sakura's determination to save Naruto in chapter 663 but I never had the chance to make my own tribute.
That's why I decided to animate this scene, to also show my own interpretation by adding a "spiritual" feeling to it. I tried included the part where Naruto wakes up but unfortunately this is all I could animate at the moment.
If I plan to make more I'll let you know.
This was inspired by Spyair's song: Imagination.

I've been seeing this gif around lately, and i honestly thought it could've been from an opening or ending of the anime. It really looks like it could be! Especially the lighting and the fuzzy effect, along with the water drop. It gives a very mystical anime ending feel.
I also like how when she touches him, it brings light to him, and his coloring brightens. And the way his eye pops open! Amazing work

To me, it looks more of Sakura is somehow disspating, and she's trying to get to Naruto before she disappears completely. Also, it makes me think of an anime my friend's into called Princess Tutu.

I am not a fan of NaruSaku (quite the opposite in fact i ship NaruHina and SasuSaku so hard) but i love your art so much this is so beautiful. You're style is like 2nd Kishimoto and sometimes even better ! I really love this animation !

Hi! I made everything on Adobe Photoshop CS4, linearts, color and minor effects. For the light blu particles I used After Effects, but I still don't know how it works xD
