Again this is an old pic that I decided to color for the heck of it. Had lots of fun doing the background, as one might see that I don't do very many of them in my regular work.Related content

Hands are tough, but just keep working at it. The more you draw them, the better you will get.

This is really beautiful... lush, yet you have a pastel like quality here that really pushes the fantasy theme. I do almost wish the signiature was smaller, but that's definitely no biggy.

Hehe, that's been up forever. Actually not quite that long, but I'm glad you like it. She is being cought by surprise, and is at that point just before either fight or flight.

Yet again, lovely. Your style as far as proportions is very nice, it adds to the elven qualities. And your shading is stunning. I'm really struck by the water effects, the hair on the water. And, although it's going against the grain, I must say that I like your choice on coloration. I think it's better that she stand out a bit. And the style and basic palette still connect her to the background, and since you have the interaction with the water, you don't necessarily need the sameness of light. At least, that's my feeling on the matter.

I'm still learning to paint with light rather than painting with color, so I'm sure it's a little off. But I learn as I do and the next one is always better

Yeah...but you would only want to put a hint of green because the whole reason she stands out is because the color of her skin contrasts with the green. The forest is beautiful and the line art is great.

Ooooh, this is GREAT. I love the background and the way the hair sits on the water. Maybe it's just me, but a hint of blue or green on the skin tone might make it look more mystical. Or trash. Iunno. I'm sorry. ;_;

The figure needs to be darker, especially on the left side which I think is the shadow side, and maybe with more green worked into the skin tones.
