Argh. And I do mean, argh. Not really happy with this one.
The doll itself was fairly fast work, and although there's much to improve on, I'm really happy I managed to capture the pose and the mood I wanted exactly. It was the effing background that drove me crazy. Long story involving accidentally destroying one I worked hard on. :/
And it is now five in the morning and I must go to sleep now.

I must admit that that's because I just can't finish anything on a base. xD
It's a bit hard to have to conform to someone else's style, and it's much easier to work from scratch than editing something to unrecognizability. I wish I had the patience for that, though. There are so many awesome bases out there I'd love to use. O:

i think this is an excellent use of pallet and a tho the background was an unplanned one it fits with her. it's a great use of space drawing the eye to her.
her face is my most fav tho.
