Me Yes, of course, like Qui-Gon said, he IS the Chosen One.
BTW there is a theory amongst Star Wars fans such as myself that Anakin Skywalker had to become Darth Vader in order to become the Chosen One; with absolutes, there is absolutely no balance. He had served the Light for his first 23 years, then destroyed it, then for his remaining 23 years, he had served the Dark, and then destroyed it. All in all, he destroyed both the Jedi and the Sith, and ultimately brought balance to the Force.
