Hmmm.... Malak... Malak was the Hero gone bad. Revan was the planner, the leader, the Inspirarion; Malak was the warrior that fought beside the troops, shed his blood and tears to keep the army together, and earned the trust of those who followed. In their own way, each Jedi was greatness personified- together, Revan and Malak were unstoppable. Until the fall. Good Jedi gone bad, as you said, and new champions of the Dark Side of the Force. But because HE had been the warrior, he underestimated Revan's abilities after the betrayal... A mistake that as you well know cost him his life. But I pity Malak. Ere the end he understood all he'd done wrong in his quest, all the mistakes that he had commited, and the final destination of the dark path he had undertaken while following in Revan's footsteps. He finally understood he had been nothing but Revan's shadow all along, a servant of Revan's legacy that continued to slave away even after betraying it's master. He was a wretched, broken shell of a man in a body filled with scars from the past... and he learned that he had never learned, and rather than control the dark side as we the Sith do, he had allowed it to control him. A fallen hero indeed. Remember, my Apprentice, for the breaking of Jedi, that it is a easy thing, a quiet thing, to fall... but it is far more terrible to admit it to themselves.

An idiot indeed... because he let himself be controlled, both by Revan and the Force. As Sith, WE must control the Dark Side-not the other way around. Remember the lesson of Malak, Darth Ilona, and take it to heart. Fools deserve their fate.
