This is a fine example of positive and negative spacing. You have a really good sense of being able to seperate the blacks from the whites without awkwardly placing them in the picture. Proportionally, everything seems correct and relative, and you did a good job with the hatching for shading. Keeping something like this simplistic is key to making it come out right and you did a great job with the simplicity in the facial areas and the tattoos on her left arm. It gets hard to keep simple on realistic things (like faces) so I applaud you for that. Overall this is a fine job and a beautiful example of what ink can do.

me too. normally i see winhouse and i groan but this one i liked for the sheer fact that it is not just a portrait but shows personality through too.
