Wethrin is a huge Castiel fan. Actually scratch that, she's an angels fan. She digs the whole "politicians from planet Vulcan" thing. This is one of her favourite quotes, and admittedly one that captures Castiel almost perfectly. He invests so much - everything, really - in whatever authority he believes in at the time. At first it was Heaven. Then it was the Winchesters. And then... then he kinda lost it. But that's another conversation entirely.
Point being, this is an awesome scene. We tried to recreate it as faithfully as possible, and I edited the colours with the actual scene from 5x02 in mind. Fierce Castiel is awesome.
