Whoo, a Shadow pic that isn't crap!I'm actually being serious, heh. This is the first original Shadow drawing that I've done that doesn't look like utter crap. And it only took me an hour and a half to do the whole thing! *gasp*
Needless to say, I'm feeling quite chuffed at the moment. ^^
By the way, regarding the title...
I sort of had the part in the Yuu-Gi-Oh!: Duelist Kingdom anime when Bakura steals Crawford's Millenium Eye in mind. Trés creepy, heh. But it makes for a slightly smexy-looking Shadow. >.>;

Very nice job! One if the things I might do is try to be a little more free-flowing in my lines. Don't be afraid to get a piece of paper and experiment with giant loose scribbles. It's suprising how it helps you learn to make more conrtolled shapes nonetheless smoother. I can see some of that in this drawing, especially the strokes around the eye area.

I generally do try that approach, mainly with things that I haven't scanned and post here on dA, though. I thikn there's one in my scraps that's doing what you're talking about, but it's not really all that good, heh (mainly because I messed up on some snowtracks). But yeah, this started out as a very loose sketch. I do try and make my lines very crisp, however, as I always want to try and CG a piece. The problem is, I don't really know how to CG correctly and it always turns out horrible. I do, howeer, try to clean up pictures in Photoshop, which is why it looks very rough in some areas and parts of the outline are missing in others.
