this is my series of 5 called Emotion Faces. i dont have a digicam or camera of any sort, but my scanner picks up enough of the paintings to show the works as i want. but truly there is nothing like seeing these five painting hung in the correct order on a wall side by side. if i ever get around to having a real gallery exhibition - thats where you would see these...Related content

the spikes add a contra-feeling to the otherwise serene mood of the painting. interesting use of different tones of blue and how it reflects light. I liked it, but humbly, I wanted to see more of that beautiful dark blue tone you used in the background.

its kinda a look of disdain. the guy its loosely based on is a gothic, hence the spiked collar, and he was kinda of my life mentor. he looked down on me a lot, and this is kinda a representation of that.
