Description
This is a rather simple scene I did using GIMP. I created it for my final art project in my painting class. (The teacher said we could use any medium we wished to.) The project was to create something from a song. I chose the song "Walking in the Air" from Celtic Women. It's a very beautiful song.

In the picture, the glowing blue orb and the glowing red orb are meant to represent two souls or spirits that are ascending into heaven, or something like that. The two were lovers who died, the male (red) died sometime before the woman he loved (the blue) and before he could pass on, he waited for his love to die so that he could lead her in passing over.

I might write a short story on it at some point or another when I'm not so tired.
