DO NOT USE WITHOUT PERMISSION. ANYWHERE.So a thread has come up suggesting that the Silvers be revamped a little bit to match current sprites. Normally I am against this sort of thing - but I do happen to know that Kitoxa, the original artist of the silvers, had expressed interest in updating them before she went on hiatus. Specifically, they were getting shined up. However, even that was quite a long while ago, and there was no response to a recent inquiry on the matter.
This may get updated from time to time based on user feedback. If this is going to be on all scrolls, I'd hope that the majority of folks are happy with the change. I will bend to accommodate reasonable requests, just not over backwards.
I have tried to capture the spirit of the original sprite as much as possible, and hope that I have done Kitoxa's babies justice. If these go through, I want to make sure that her name is kept on the artist credits, period!
If it doesn't go through, he shall be fan art from someone who adores the Silvers!

I think this would be awesome. Silvers atm look great, but it does feel like they need a bit of a shine up. Id be okay if they changed them all, or even if they kept the old ones with the old sprites, and any silvers born after a certain point in time would have the new sprites.

I like this, it's very nice and you've really kept the original spirit of the design! I've been thinking for a long time that the current silvers seem like they've been in need of a good shine-up. If this version takes their place at any time in the future, I'll welcome them with open arms!!

I like this version very much. However, I wouldn't want the two silvers I already have being changed to look like that. I like those Silvers how they look now, as they're my first two Silvers. Changing them would ruin them for me for a long time.
If the Silvers caught after these sprites are released looked like that, I'd be fine, though.

I wouldn't mind if this version was used at all. I think the current Silvers are somewhat lacking, especially compared to the new Golds.
I love how you made him shiny, yours truly looks silvery in color <3 Also like how you changed the pose a bit, but still kept from doing a completely different sprite.

Thank you. That was my goal. I had trouble working out the anatomy issues that users were pointing out just by working with the sprite itself - so I redrew it while trying to honor the original as best as I could.
Hopefully he is more graceful looking!

Yes, he does look more graceful <3 He looks exactly like I imagine a Silver dragon would look like. I saw some of the other sprites that people were making and, while I really liked them, I have to say yours is definitely my favorite so far. Can't wait to see what you'll do with the female!
