lovely work! and it's whatshisface.... that actor. omg. im so bad with names. But I get the likeness I know exactly who it is even if I can't remember his name... from the films I try to forget exist.. *mumblegrumble* (sorry I am a total Tolkien-geek and those films kinda.. irk me.. for the same reason that the LotR films irk me. XD probably not best to ask why unless you would like my rant in full. you have been warned! )
back to the art, I like it! love the colour range and the expressions, nicely done!
thanks for using the collab stock!

Ah, yeah! I also read the three books of the Lord of the Rings. And I love them too.
I also read the Hobbit. (although it's a much simpler read, I loved it anyway.).
Now I would like to read the Silmarillion.
Yeah! I haven't read the book of the Children of Húrin, but I think it would be interesting to see something new always connected to the world of LotR and Tolkien.
better than a new LotR makeover, I think...

oh yes the Hobbit is much more light-hearted. The Silmarillion is written more like a history book, so, unless you're already obsessed with the lore and history of Middle Earth it can be a difficult read. i'd probably recommend reading the Children of Húrin first. the story is in the Silmarillion, but in the Children of Húrin it's written more like a story, less like a history lesson. it was finished by Tolkien's son as Tolkien wrote loads of different scripts from that story but couldn't get it the way he wanted it. it's been a while since I read either book but I loved both of them.
yeah I;m quite excited! i hope they'll do it justice and depending what they pick they'll have a load of creative freedom. just, trying not to get my hopes up too much, i mean, look what happened to the last couple of seasons of Game of Thrones XD lol if i go in with low expectations that's much better
i've got a list of 100 books to read before you die, so i'm working through that at the moment. (i had already read 17 of them, so i added 23 others from another list, because that kind of maths makes total sense XD) i've been trying to branch out from the fantasy genre that I'm addicted to lol

me tooo.
I've really been enjoying some of the books as well.. Dickens is a bit of a chore to read. I kinda gave up halfway through Great Expectations because.. well.. bored.
Pride and Predjudice I always avoided because I despised Jane Eyre when I was made to do an essay on it at secondary school, and I kidna classed all those books in the same ilk, but I actually really enjoyed it, that and Wuthering Heights wasn't as bad as I expected either. my most recent read from that list has been The Handmaid's Tale. I would have finished that book in one day if I let myself do nothing but read it. It was difficult to put down to do the other stuff that I needed to do, but, I did. XD
If you'd ever like some fantasy books suggestions, or any suggestions, lemme know. i loooove talking books and recommending books
