Hi there! I really want to make this costume soon for a convention, but i was wondering if you used a pattern for the skirt or if you made it up yourself? I was going to just make a normal circle or half circle skirt for the purple base, but how did you make the top pink layer?

Hi! I'm sorry for the late reply!
I made up the patter for the skirt myself: it is composed of 4 layers+ a crinoline petticoat underneath them; the first deeper layer is a single full circle skirt, just like the second layer which I roughly teared apart as you can see. The third layer (the shortest) is a double full circle skirt while the top skirt, the pink one, is an asymmetric double full circle skirt: the overall aspect as you cut and sew the fabric is that of an ellipse. As a last step I wrinkled the front part of it.

Thank you so much! My boyfriend made the fingers, which are an important part of this cosplay indeed. Also, I must admit it was pretty fun to hang around the convention with those, even if they were pretty uncomfortable: I couldn't handle anything.
