On TumblrSo yesterday I went to the cinema with a friend of mine, to finally see Star Trek: Into Darkness (the premiere in my country was few days ago, so Iβm a bit late with that).
And you know, I had an ~emotion, so I just had to paint Benedictβs own glass case of emotion. This painting was inevitable. I hope you enjoy it

Lovely! I think you captured the more sympathetic side of him very well. The colors are fantastic, too.
Also, super-nit-picky, but I think his nose is a bit small? That man has such an awkward face, I'm impressed anyone is able to paint it.

I wanted most of the attention on the eyes, so I made the whole "eyes area" bigger than they should be on purpose (that's why the rest looks a bir weird). However, the chin was indeed too short, so I fixed it now.

I agree, his face is rather disproportionate. Though the eyes are really really stunning and the color, as always, is beautiful and wonderful.
Weirdly at it's largest view it seems accurately proportioned but the thumbnail and the smaller view seem skewed. That's really strange! I wonder why that is, maybe because in the smaller versions you can't see how his head angles?
