well that thing is quite recent, like last year I think... easy to find in comic book stores, it's just 4 little volumes + 1 loki special volume if you don't care about all the tie-ins

Nope. XD I want to know the whole story, but honestly, comics are just way too crazy and long running like that. I've given up trying to be 'teh true fan' with reading all of them. I take what I can get and try to make sense of it all based on what I've read previously.
And when I can't do that. WIKIPEDIA!

wikipedia saved my life many times, because I don't like Fantastic4 or Hulk so everything related to them that eventually crosses the other serie have to be checked on wiki to be understood xD

Yeah, I've never been a fan of their story lines. Honestly, I'm pretty sure I just read Thor and Captain America XD I admit that I'm more of a DC girl. I blame the goddamn Batman.

I really like Batman (and Manhunter, not the martian one, the she-persecutor who kicks asses) but I can't get myself to love DC, even though I tried... I'm more of a Marvel person, I read everything from Marvel that is not F4 and Hulk xD

The only DC heroes I never liked were Superman and all the various other spin offs of him (supergirl, superboy, all the alternate universe supermen...)
Oh and all the STRICTLY fanservice characters like Powergirl.

yeah, DC have quite a few of those... I think the reason why I can't bring myself to like DC is also that the only really decent female characters are Wonder Woman and Manhunter... sometimes Zatanna... but nearly every single one of them is the female version of another male superhero, like they can't be something on their own.
I prefer Marvel's approach to female characters, even if they don't have much more female superhero than DC, I feel like they are more... respected in some way.

Oh yeah, I agree to that, but DC tends to have more compelling villains (at least for me) and a hero is only as good as the challenges they rise to face. That's one of the reasons why I fell in love with the Thor comics because a bunch of the villains were based in mythology and the nerd in me was like, "FUCK YES!!!!" and then had a nerdgasm all over the place and everything imploded from awesome.
Even if they got....pretty much EVERYTHING wrong about the myths XD
We allow for ugly fucks like Deadpool into the boy's club, why not some horribly mangled women too? Oh wait....fanservice. XD And now reality comes crashing down.

wait wait: Runaway's Gertrude was a overweight girl with glasses and she was due to become the new leader of the Avengers in the future. I think that's a +10 points to Marvel, even if they killed her at some point.

I loved Thor, but I'm firstly a Marvel fan and have been for 11 years, and if you have to consider how much the movie represents the comic and its atmosphere, the best is Iron Man and the second best absolutely Cap, but Thor is just there a step behind them, he is still in the realm of near perfection xD

Thor hardly follows the story of the comic, but I love it(maybe because is the last Marvel movie I see) Iron Man seems a lot more to comics I agree but for me rigth now both arealmost the same level, and I expect much from the Capitain's movie XD
