I really really damn well wish one of the next two movies has a scene where Thorin has a chance to play a harp. I'm not expecting it though, but any and all fanfic and fanart that references it makes me happy, because I like it when fanworks bring up details that don't make it into the movies.

i think there will be because in LotR when they show Bilbo's diary, the page shown has a drawing of an harp with "thorin's harp" written under it. like, if Jackson himself put that little thing in the LotR, I can well hope he'll remember and give us a moment of harp-Thorin in the Hobbit too!
