Yes it is fanart, yes it is Rogue. So for most of these I’m going on instinct and I’m doing what the color tells me, and the color screamed Rogue. Anyone who knows me knows X-Men are my thing. Legit I don’t know another person who knows X-Men as well as I do, I live, breathe and speak X-Men. I hold my mom responsible for this, she would bring me home from school in first and second grade and she’d let me watch two episodes of the cartoons that aired at that time and well... it was always X-Men. Yellow is also my favorite color and I suspect it’s due to Rogue (and the yellow Power Ranger). Rogue to me has always been an incredibly complex character, strong in so many aspects and so vulnerable in others I couldn’t help but see myself in her. I’ve drawn a lot of comic fanart, a lot of Scarlet Witches, some Gambits, Storms, X-23s, Psylockes and Polaris and probably even a Jean Grey, but this is my first time doing a Rogue and I absolutely love it. And she has the Jim Lee uniform because it’s what she was wearing when I met her and became obsessed. So here’s my Anna Marie LeBeau 💛
