I am a fan of Christopher Hart and his 87 how to draw book helps inspired me to draw human characters from my favorite anime shows. Also I am a fan of the Mario, Kirby and Sonic video games that I get inspired from some elements carried over to improve concept stuff for my project.

She won't have this look in the demo but I later made her this round and bulky appearance which can come in handy with different purposes. I will explain on my drawing to update the details later. when a blonde hair guy named Teppei which his name was later changed to Tony picks up Rika and can hurl her across the floor similar to a bowling ball or Sonic himself, killing enemies and crashing through obstacles and walls along the way.

She was a shrine maiden in the original show, she is now a young scientist in training. experimenting different ways to kill a demon by using her own power of chemistry.   

Her round and bulky appearance can be used to kill and crush enemies as well, one of the chemical flasks she drinks gives her a low gravity ability to float in the air and can create hard falls on the surface like a bouncing ball by pressing the down key if she is above an enemy.
