Description
Dana had just finished smoothing the gauze over the first wound on Grievous's side when the cyborg horse lurched to his feet and stepped over her knees.

"What are you doing?" She demanded. "You need these. Just because I stitched the wounds closed doesn't mean they won't get infected, or still bleed--"

"I don't need bandages."

"What? Why not?"

"Contrary to your belief, I'm fine, and I'll heal." Grievous replied. "Even if your stitching isn't that good."

Dana gave him a look. "Oh, and you could do better."

The cyborg growled at her.

Dana, in response, pointed to the space between the two thick, raised roots of the tree. The grass was damp with Grievous's blood and matted down by him lying there. "Grievous, please sit back down."

"Who made you my doctor?" Grievous demanded, baring his teeth at her with another growl. He coughed. "Leave me alone, you annoying little thing."

"I'm not arguing with you."

"And I'm not arguing with you. I'm telling you. I'm going. Goodbye." He spat the last word at her feet like an expletive with all the sarcasm he could muster, and turned away, head down like a snake.

And that was when Dana stood up, pointed rather violently to the tree, and said, "Sit. down."

Grievous stared at her in shock, head up, unable to comprehend--had she just ordered him to do something??

"And I'm telling you," Dana said quietly but no less firmly, eyes steely. "Sit down."

"You do not tell me what to do!"

"You sit your metal ass down, General Grievous, or I'm going to kick it!" Dana suddenly shouted. "And very hard, too! Now SIT!!"

In alarm, Grievous sat.

Dana walked over to him with the gauzes and medical tape, and once again knelt beside him. Deeply perturbed but utterly unsure of what to do, Grievous once again let himself lie down, tucking his forelegs beneath him. He briefly considered attacking her--he didn't even have to kill her, a simple swipe with his claws would be all it would take to get him away from here--but for some reason, he couldn't.

"There," Dana said, taping the first gauze down. "That's better." All hardness and anger had left her voice, leaving it as gentle and soft as before. It was like music. After a short silence, she asked, "Why didn't you want bandages?"

Grievous avoided her eyes and refused to answer.

"Is it because you thought it would make you look weak?"

Again, he did not reply.

The instead she had taped the last gauze securely over his wounds, he jumped to his feet and disappeared into the bushes without another word before she could even turn her head.
