I often try to parody scenes from the Anime/Manga. This one is about Shippuuden episode 251. I think you all know the scene.
I recognized that Itachi haven´t seen Kisame before he started with this popular quotation. While saying he turned around ... and could have thought that he wasn´t that right with his first sentence.

But you may be right. The Rock Lee SD chibis also have big eyes, heads and small bodies and all in all they're not bad, but somehow they aren't really cute. I think it's because their had's shape is too simple, the mouthes are too large or the lines of their irises are too hard. I don't know exactly.
But thanks to them I started to draw chibis, trying to make it better ^^

I always thought the same about Akatsuki chibis in Rock Lee SD, My speculation was that the creator or anime studio want to make things funny, but don't want to make the Akatsuki seem too cute since they are major villains XD But for us Akatsuki fans, at least I could say for myself, I started seeing the Akatsuki members as cute long ago XD

Hm. Maybe you're right as well. But then they didn't managed making them not-cute... or at least the SD Akatsuki are cuter than Konoha people like Lee (because they're still not cute enough / as they could be).

Your are right! Maybe Kishimoto and the anime studio would do better if they stuck with the full sized character, but not that I'm complaining about Rock Lee SD, it was hilarious. Oh yes! I remember that scene (I've watched the Akatsuki episode many times because I love the characters XD), I thought Hidan was too cute myself XD

Aw this is cute ;w; but i think itachi was already aware of kisame's appearance, because leader must have told him about the Monster of the mist. To me when itachi told him this it was something to make kisa understand That to him, he was human not Just the Monster everyone thought he was. But that's Just my opinion xD

I don´t know exactly if he had known Kisa`s appearance before but it´s a good declaration for this quote.
I just recognized that in Naruto they are aware of the names but don´t know how the charas look like really often ( for example when Sakura, Kashi, Naruto and Chiyo met the Itachi clone in the beginning of Shippuden. Sakura had investigated about Ita but didn´t know who he was when she stayed right in front of him.). So I thought Itachi´s words were just the reaction on what Kisame said a few moments ago...
Well, we´ll never know the exactly circumstances but let´s keep these these theories in mind. ^^
