I know what you mean - I bought some cheap gesso because the tub was bigger and yet I have to put on at least three coats to equal the more expensive kind, so it's actually a waste of money.

Oh, love so many of your drawings - don't know which to comment on! Dig this one for the mix of 'real' and imaginary...
And I like Lou Reed and it was submitted on my birthday!
Keep rockin!

I love these sketchbook productions. Your graphite drawings are marvelous oddities that are refreshing after so many devArt mundanities. : )

Mr. Gato looks like a character from a Miyazaki film. For some reason I'm reminded of Picasso with your artwork. Very fantastic, detailed and unique.

You haven't lived until you've seen one of his films in Theaters. "Howl's Moving Castle" has been the only film I've seen on the big screen thus far, it was amazing. :3

I say spirit away on the big screen, but in spanish. I hate so see translated films, I like when I can see them in their original languaje. Bad thing is that every movie for children are translated, so there's no chance to hear the languaje and sometimes the translations are awful.

The English Dub was great. I don't know about the Japanese dub, though, I haven't watched it in that before. But you're right, seeing films in your own native language kinda ruins the authenticity of it's origin. Like there's once piece of that artwork that's missing.
