i've always wondered this about cartoon characters with small bodies and large heads, ala dora the explorer, fairly oddparents or, heck, 90% of the cartoon world these days - how could they do gymnastics? if they did a cartwheel, they'd roll on their heads. and because of that, they wouldn't be able to do almost any other skill!

and i, a gymnast, would be miserable as a cartoon. that is, unless i had proper proportions.

(say that five times fast!)
