See what people don\'t know about me, don\'t understand is every word, every look, every silence cuts into me. Through my flesh, past my bone, straight to my heart...and further. They go right to my very soul, they are embedded into my memory never to be forgotten. I don\'t want to feel so much, I don\'t try, but I can\'t stop it. And as much as I say I don\'t care...I laugh because you believe me. You believe the forced laughs, the fake words, you believe I\'m happy when I\'m not, you believe the script, you believe my act. Every little thing gets to me...never the big ones...and while I don\'t want to hold onto it I can\'t let go. And because I keep my thoughts to myself, so as not to offend you...it only hurts me. Every withheld comment, every blank face, every deaf ear, every false smile. They come back to torture me, to drag me through Hell time and again. And you wonder how I can be unhappy...but I think you know more than you let on. You hide as much as I do...you\'re just not quite so good...or are you?
